Baby Phat Olive Leather and Fur Studded Hobo
The Find: The tags are still on it. The black diamond hangtag, the photo tag with the original babyphat.com address, and the folded card signed by Kimora Lee Simmons telling you what she wanted Baby Phat to be for the woman carrying it. Almost none of these survived with their paperwork, which is what makes this one a collector's piece rather than a used bag. The construction earns the attention too. Olive distressed leather cut into a scalloped petal edge, every point set with a rivet stamped with the Baby Phat cat, fur panels worked across the front, and a crystal-set oval medallion at the center. This is the era when Kimora was building accessories to compete with the houses, and it shows in every detail of the build.

Condition: Very good with the original tags still attached. Three crystals are absent from the oval medallion, photographed clearly. The leather carries the distressed finish it was made with, so the surface variation across the panels is by design rather than wear. All rivets are present and secure, the zip runs smoothly, the charm chain is complete, and the lining is clean with no marks, odors or separation.
