The Find: Giuseppe Zanotti Design — the Italian master of the statement shoe, whose crystal-embellished heels have been worn on every major red carpet and whose current retail prices regularly exceed $1,500. These gold bronze satin mules are from Zanotti's early-era production under the Vicini label, making them a genuine archive piece from the designer's formative period. The crystal snake strap is the centerpiece: a fully rhinestone-encrusted serpent in amber topaz and clear crystals that wraps across the foot, ending in a sculpted gold snake head with cross-hatched scales and crystal eyes. This is wearable sculpture from one of Italy's most celebrated shoe designers, sourced in a colorway that barely exists on the resale market. Condition: Good vintage condition. All body crystals and rhinestones fully intact on both shoes. One small crystal eye missing from one snake head (not noticeable during wear). Satin upper shows light marks and minor discoloration consistent with age, including a small spot on the left toe. Gold metallic insole shows light wear. Soles show moderate wear. Heel tips intact. Wave appliqué on both toes intact and secure.
